The Greetery: The Autumn Edit Day 2

Hello, friends! Welcome to our introductions of the newest release from The Greetery – a lovely collection called The Autumn Edit!

There are some Fall specific things in this collection but there are also some items that I will use year-round and I think you’re gonna love them! Let me show you what I made!

First up, there is a new addition to the Market Place suite of products….this one called Eerie Avenue. I decided to use them to create my own European Market that sort of has an Anthropologie feel! 🙂

I used the Eerie Avenue goodies to create the sign, add the pumpkins, the star garland and the cute little wooden fences and added all of that to the Market Place No. 1 building.

And thennnnnnn………

I used the new Wildwood dies to add a huge floral spray on the front of the building, not unlike some of the big displays that Anthropologie does!! How fun is that?!!

PRO TIP: When doing something like this, be mindful of your flower placement with the front door of your building. You want it to still be somewhat feasible for a “person” to “walk thru” the door of your card! Haha! I have a leaf hanging over, but you don’t want to hide the whole door.

Next up, I used the new Wildwood stencils and embossing folder to create this pretty panel! Wow, does it have amazing texture and dimension in real life!!!

I created the patterned panel and then trimmed a small strip out of it, to create the gap in the pattern.

PRO TIP: Putting a darker piece of card stock behind that gap, really accentuates the gap and highlights that design element on the card front!

The sentiments are from the previously released Lovely Silhouettes and I added a few enamel dots to finish off the card.

Next up, I used the new Hand-picked Harvest stencils, die and embossing folder to create this cute card!

PRO TIP: Layering texture on texture is such fun! I stenciled the entire panel, ran it through the die cutting machine with the new Embossing Folder and then cut the whole panel out with the die. You get all those die cut pieces in one fell swoop! Then, I layered all those textured die cuts on a piece of textured woodgrain card stock to really pile on the texture! The woodgrain just adds to the Fall feel.

The sentiment is from the new Simple Autumn Sentiments stamp set, and I stamped it on a Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle Labels die cut.
